Statement
Just
like walls conceal several layers, several lives, several stories; my artwork
is adorned with painting, papers, drawings and images. Inexorably, time moves
on and erases all.
I then strive to
keep a trace, to question identity and memories, to reinvent a story, to
rebuild a past, maybe my own.
I spent my childhood in a nostalgic
country embraced by a family made of broken dreams that can certainly explain
that. Inspiration comes from private atmospheres and emotions from my past:
feelings, nature, day-to-day, traditions, little things, poetry…
I question myself
about the relationship between women and time that passes by: through them, on
them, with them.My work is
definitely about my quest for my missing part…
